When you’re too tired for practicing even one more pirouette, when you’re stressed about opening night, or when you’re trying to remember that tricky combination, visualization techniques are as good as a physical practice and can take your dancing to the next level. Don’t underestimate the power of visualization for dancers.
A simple series for building arm endurance and strength. Easy to remember, this is a little something you can keep in your “back pocket.” It’s also versatile – make additions, increase repetitions, or add hand weights when it becomes too easy.

They also strengthen the plantar flexors for pointe work, stability and balance, cushioning landings, and giving power to jumps.
