We had a spectacular turnout for the 2010 Giving Thanks Giveaway!
Boo hoo over what you missed:
Links to all the featured companies and products are here
This 6-day event included 12 giveaways with over 500 entries and a total of 24 winners.
Therefore, please refrain from contacting me to inquire about the results.
Here’s what happens now:
After collecting and organizing the entries for each of the twelve drawings, I contact the winners. If you are one of the randomly selected winners, I will use the email address you provided to notify you. I am not responsible for mistyped address or mistakes on your part. You will have 48 hours from the time it is sent to respond to this e-mail.
With so many giveaways it is crucial to maintain this strict time frame. If I don’t hear from you in the allotted time, I will move on to the next person drawn. No exceptions! Stay close to your email over the next week. I would hate for a winner to miss out on a prize.
Join me in saying thanks to our giveaway sponsors:
- Tell sponsors that you saw or discovered them on DA
- Thank them for supporting me
- Choose them when making purchases

My thanks to you:
Readers are what make Dance Advantage special. Without readers, this is just another of the thousands of sites scattered across the blogosphere. The Giving Thanks Giveaway is one way I can use whatever position I’ve secured to say thank you. I wish I were like Oprah and could give everyone a prize.
Of course, information and content is given away at Dance Advantage all the time. If you have landed here and seen only the giveaway, you haven’t seen the core of Dance Advantage. I encourage you to have a look around in the archives. More goes into a site like Dance Advantage than you may realize and I manage all editorial, promotional, and technical elements myself. So, as I scanned the giveaway comments and read your thoughtful words or thanks regarding what I do here, it was a reminder of why I care to keep going.
Your encouragement means the world to me. You are why I want to keep learning; why I want Dance Advantage to grow and get better; why I want to make it a valuable resource in the dance community.
You can help Dance Advantage grow and improve:
If you find the material at Dance Advantage useful, tell at least one friend or student or parent or teacher!
If you read something that helps you, or that you can add to, or even that you disagree with, comment!
If you want to read regularly, or be on the inside of the information here, subscribe!
If you want me to keep thinking big, remember to say thanks to giveaway and advertising sponsors.
Your actions and choices, without a doubt, support this site and the people (my family included) behind it, as directly as any donation.
I hope to bring YOU good news this week! Best of luck.

You are so awesome! And yes… let’s find a way to get dancers to comment. They have so many interesting things to say I just know it!
Nichelle, all the hard and great work you did this to produce this Thanksgiving week has certainly shown what a consummate pro you are! Thank you, and thank you to your sponsors!
As a special thank you to them, I will be posting a link and reference to each of their websites on my fan page every day for the next week.
The industry is lucky to have you as a resource, and I, for one, am grateful to know you. Thank you, again.
:o)

Thank you both for brightening my morning 🙂
I appreciate your enthusiasm and support! And Tiffany, I so agree! It’s why I run a blog and not a website – I’m not interested in a one-way conversation.
The week has been amazing but I’m glad to get back to content. Stay tuned!
Thank you for your wonderful and informative site! The giveaway was fun to participate in and to discover so many new dance related products and services.
I am an adult student, but due to responsibilities at home, am unable to take any classes right now. Your site helps me stay connected to the dance community. My ballet barre is set up and I work away at home, but it is not nearly as much fun as taking classes. 🙂 It is inspiring to read all of the comments and articles you feature and I love the pictures!
Thank you!
