I am thrilled to have hosted this event. I hope you found some new blogs to follow in the process.

Readers and the bloggers themselves came out to show support for all of their favorite blogs in the first round of our contest. Now, those blogs who rallied the most comments have made the cut for the final voting stage. The polls will close at 10AM EST on Thursday, December 30.

In each category we chose the 3 blogs that received the most comments. Now, it’s time to pick your favorites. You may cast your vote only ONCE in each of the five category polls below! Make sure you hit the Vote button when you’ve decided.

  5. Nichelle,
Thank you for the great opportunity of being part of the “Top 10 Dance Blog” Competition! I think this was a lovely idea to connect dancers and dance enthusiasts alike, a fantastic idea to network and share ideas, thoughts and experiences in the artistic world. You have a great blog here! Best wishes for the New Year!

  6. Hi, Nichelle!

Definitely keep this daffy thing going! Next year, there will be more blogs involved, and it will be a great way to make the dance community more aware of the resources and the new voices that are out there.

I definitely have enjoyed the opportunity to bring some of my readers together in this effort and have been heartened by their comments and participation.

Wishing you and your community a great New Year! Success and a happy heart to go along with it!

    DA has my vote! 😉

  11. Thanks so much for creating this competition and bringing the online dance community together! It’s so great to meet new bloggers and hear what they have to say…thankful just to be a finalist!

    Happy New Year!

  12. Nichelle,

I wanted to leave you a note and tell you how much I appreciate all you do for the dance world and dancers. You also take so much time to support those of us who try to support dance and dancers in some way. You are a true gift to the dance world–and the cyber dance world.

Thanks also for hosting this contest. It’s been fun…and roused my competitive nature! Of course, winning has benefits for any blogger–more reach for their blog, which means they can help more dancers. That’s the point, after all–at least for me. So I’m grateful for the opportunity for more people to find out about my work in the world of dance.

I’ve watched your site grow and blossom. It’s been a pleasure…

Keep up the great work! I look forward to more posts from you at My Son Can Dance in 2011.

  13. Thank you all for the kind comments about the contest and about Dance Advantage. To the bloggers that have commented here: I am honored that you all chose to participate. Keep doing what you do! You are all amazing and unique.

To longtime friends and followers of DA: You encourage me so much to keep growing this vision. I look forward to sharpening it in 2011. Thank you!!

  14. Congrats on a successful contest. It was so much fun to get to know some more bloggers. Can’t wait to see the official results. And a big shout out to Dance Advantage. I’m a huge fan!!

  15. Thanks for hosting this contest. It was a great way to learn about other dance blogs and build up some hype for my own blog at the same time. I love reading your posts throughout the year. Keep it up!

  16. Wishing all dance bloggers a beautiful and rewarding New Year! It was fun and an honor to participate in this contest with you!
